The Workshop

As many of our items are custom made, we encourage customers to view their work in progress. It enables them to feel more a part of the making of their personal item and ensures that they are happy with it every step of the way. It also allows us to discuss clients' needs directly should the need arise.

The Process

Building a ring from its concept design follows a number of steps and involves bringing several parts together. Below are a selection of some of the shanks and collets available which make up the basis of the ring.

Collets

Stones

Once these are selected and brought together, we add the stones. An example of the process is below:

At Carats we pride ourselves on our craftmanship and are more than happy for customers to see how we work and have an understanding of the process required. Due to this we have our workshops open to view within the shops.
